Great time and effort was taken to ensure our log accurately represented who we are and what we are about. It is made up of three main components: the frame, the flag and the frond.
The Frame is literally a representation of what we're all about: art and artists. But there's more to it than that. In an increasingly digital world, the frame can be interpreted in other ways such as a camera frame and the screens that surrounding our modern lives; interactive frames through which we can view and discover the world. Our frame is in a state of construction and deconstruction, representing the constant change in the way we view and interact with art.
The Flag is represents both unity and exhibition. As a country of many cultures, the art of New Zealand combines many different journeys. As an online collective, our mission is to provide a platform from which individuals can come together and showcase their art to the world.
The Frond is an already iconic image for New Zealand, and represents the growth of our artistic community.
