The latest updates from NZ Art Cloud
15/1/2019 0 Comments
Every month, we're inviting our Collective Members to join a 'Member Discussion'. This will be hosted by a member of our team and will focus on a different topic question. This is intended to be an opportunity for members to share their ideas, successes, frustrations, questions, and problems, to connect with other artists and for us to weigh in with some of our expertise and guide the discussion where we can.
Member Discussions will be online, and you can join from the Membership Dashboard on our website. The discussions will take the form of a video chat, and we'll be live, but there's no need for you to switch on your camera if you don't feel comfortable. You can choose to just listen in, or to contribute using your microphone or by typing messages if you want to. There's no pressure at all to contribute, but it is our aim to create a safe and welcoming space where any of our members can listen in or share their thoughts if they want to!
In order to join the discussion, you need to be a member of our Collective. Memberships are open to all NZ Artists, at any point in their art journey, anywhere in the world.
If you'd like to become a collective member, and join our first Members' Discussion, you can grab yourself a one-year membership for just $29. This will also give you access to our discounted website deals, premium profiles, professional development opportunities, one-on-one support, and the ability to sell via our upcoming online store. For more information about memberships, or to grab one for yourself, click the button below. Already a member, you can log in to the Membership Dashboard below.
Our first Member Discussion will take place on:
Wednesday, January 23rd at 3pm.
The topic question for the first discussion will be:
How do you (or don't you) promote yourself online?
Today, our Artist Directory went online. Thank you to those wonderful artists who've already added their profile. We're still working with some of you to complete your profiles, and these will be added to the "browse artists" page as soon as they're complete.
We're also very excited to announce that we are committed to keeping it free to join our directory. It is our mission to create a comprehensive directory of practicing NZ Artists, and we don't want there to be any barriers such as cost to stop every NZ Artist from adding their profile.
You can browse our Artist Directory from the main menu. If you haven't already added your profile, head to the Opportunities menu to do this. It only takes a few moments, and you can do it from any device (as long as you have some pictures of your work and a profile photo to upload).
Also, another update was completed on our site today. You can now read even more about us in the Our Story menu. We aim to be open and transparent, so if you have any questions about us, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
